However, it may be interesting to automatically place a facility once there's only one place it could go on the island. That's something we may look into in future updates, although it's not planned right now.
If you're having trouble selecting a facility location when buying one, please log a bug—ideally with a screenshot at the moment the bug is occurring—and I will gladly look into it further.
