I agree. I just lost a game where my opponent threw two yahtzees in the first 4 turns (Table #79561693). I've seen numerous, immediate yatzhees show up on the first throw. There is an obvious statistical chance of this happening, but I've seen it happen at least 3 or 4 times here, and I've only played around 80 games. Whatever algorithm is running this game needs to be tweaked.

I agree that there is no way the dice are truly random. I just played a game where I had a minimum of four or five turns where my retools were the exact same thing every single time. Once or twice makes sense, but we are talking 10+ retools, which should be statistically very unlikely.

I played a lot of Yatzee with real Dice, the behaviour described above seems normal to me. My record is + 700 points so more than one Yahtzee in a game does not mean dice are not random.

Agreed! I get the same numbers in the same spots over and over and over again. I've taken to refreshing the page between rolls and it seems to reduce the frequency with which this happens, but not entirely (still far beyond statistical likelihood)

My opponent and I both rolled the exact same rolls to get yahtzee, back to back rolls.

Alos he awarded 150 points when it was only worth 50. I got 50.

statistically impossible to have as many double or triple yam in one game.
I think the dice roll is not statistically possible.

Given how many games of Yahtzee are played on this site, it seems reasonable that statistically there will be many games every day where several Yahtzees come up on the first few turns etc. Nothing I've seen about the game suggests it is anything other than random.

I was playing with 3 other people. ONe person quit playing because it kicked her out and she couldn't get back in. When we x'd her from the game, then no one could play after that.
VERY FRUSTRATING. None of us will probably use this site (BGA) again.

I've had many rerolls that yield the same number. Understandably, this _can_ happen, and _should_ happen sometimes, but it seems unlikely to happen multiple times per game, let alone per turn. Watch the replay of table 103761591.

Well, in 3 games in a row I just had 8 or 9 yahtzee against me... Don't seem like random to me... I had just 2 maybe... Either there's a problem with the software or the players I played against were cheating somehow...

Table #156063400 was a tournament match. Two things: 1) the time allotted was not honored. The game reported hours started at 6 am, but when I came back to the match @ 6:20 am I was timed out and lost a game that I was ahead in points, 2) the dice are not random. Several times during this tournament. Ex: initial roll was 1-5 which selected for re-roll came out again 1-5. More often with single dice. The only way that would happen in real life is if I slide the dice out of the cup. Random chance the dice would have different numbers. This makes me not want to play, because I can't get the dice to roll randomly.

At this table #170568058 on my last moves pf the game, I rolled no fives, and over two rerolls I got zero fives. Please explain how this is possible.

Also, at a different table, I rolled three potential rigoles for three of my turns, back-to-back-to-back. Please fix!

The odds are simply IMPOSSIBLE in this game here. The player with less points (both ELO and gamepoints) is always favoured a "bit". That's why a lot of higher ranking players decline to start a game with lower ranking players. Because they have much-much less chance to win thanks to the crazy algorithm.
It's understandable to balance the game/players, but it's just too much IMO.
I've seen many many crazy games, 6 Ys in one game; last 3 rolls (LS+2Ys) perfectly fit to win for the player with lesser points; and many more. Would be nice to make this game more random, now it's extremely crazy ;)

The Die roll is not working properly. One turn I got the exact same numbers for 2 dice for each reroll. Multiple times the numbers of the reroll do not change. This is not realistic, this rarely happens irl games. The number generator needs to be improved to ACTUALLY be random.

They are random. If you can't believe it, check the code in BGA studio.

If you just can't accept getting the short end of the stick, why bother with luck-based games anyway?
