For splendor (boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=splendor) , I tried to add rules for an expansion:
boardgamegeek.com/filepage/296812/splendor-the-sun-never-sets-rulebook-en

But the system won't let me because those rules were already added to the Splendor in Alpha ( boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=splendorexpansions)

This is not the first time I have this problem with a game. (Heat, Feast for Odin, Catan Cities and Knights,...)
It happens very often when a game is already out and then an alpha version is created for support of extensions.

The alpha version then tends to subsist forever even after the new features are integrated into the main game.

But the check for link duplicate is triggered when the link is already present for another game.

So something has to give.
Either the check should be smarter
and/or the alpha removed when integrated into the main game
and/or the alpha rule links removed when integrated into the main game
or, better yet, the alpha rule links migrated when the alpha is integrated into the main game
