Thank you for raising this.

Based on your detailed descriptions, I did a deeper dive on where those areas were getting their strings for translation. I've found that a lot of these were not properly respecting the translations and have updated the code to support them now. However, this means that there are a lot of untranslated strings available for translation now: boardgamearena.com/translation?module_id=2071&source_locale=en_US&dest_locale=de_DE . Once those have been translated and verified, they should be available within the game.

I appreciate you being vocal about this problem. Hopefully this update makes the game more accessible and enjoyable to yourself and other players.

There have been a ton of translated strings over the last few days and the games all look much better! I'll continue to watch for untranslated strings in the future. For now, I think we're good to close this issue.

there are still untranslated strings:

in the log, there are a lot of messages with ${facility}, ${location}, ${dino}, ${card_list}, ${card_list} (and maybe more), where the word for the replacement still appears in English, for example in
• ${player_name}'s ${facility} is damaged
• ${player_name} assigns a worker to ${location}
• ${player_name} places a ${dino} in his park
• ${player_name} discards ${card_list} DNA card(s)
• ${player_name} loses a ${meeple}
• ${player_name} plays ${card_name}
All of those replacements have translations.

this one is not available in the translation hq:
• ${player_name} spends a market token

the tooltips for the manipulation cards: I didn't check them all, but all that I did check were at least partly in English. those are not available for translation, but there are some strings translated that are almost identical, for example:
• tooltip: Each opponent must either gain a Scandal or discard 1 DNA card to the Boneyard. (available translation string: Each opponent must either gain a Scandal token or discard one DNA card to the Boneyard.)
• tooltip: For each player who does not receive a DNA card, gain a Scandal. (available translation string: For each player who does not receive a DNA card, gain a Scandal token.)
• tooltip: Draw up to two facility tiles to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th spaces of the City Center. (available translation string: Draw up to two new Facility tiles to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th market spaces.)

This one string is available for translation (and translated), but appears in the language of another player:
