First, you have to pay attention to the middle column, since you can only connect 4 horizontally with the middle column . Try to win by connect 4 in diagonals and also make sure that is a way to win before the game almost ends. If possible, create a situation where if the opponent blocks you from connecting four, you can win anyways.
